Yvonne Frazenburg was very busy with her own soup kitchen in Jones Street, Lotusville on Mandela Day. "I decided to spoil the kids in the area with some soup and bread on this special day - 16 July 2010. It was such a great suprise to me to see that, without an advert or invitation, the social occasion was a huge success."
"I was able to feed 120 children and 12 adults in the Lotusville, Hagenheim and Beverly hills area. My motto that I learned through this experience is that 'PROBEER IS DIE BESTE GEWEER' (one won't succeed without trying). I would like to take this opportunity to thank my mother Grandma Trien and my sister Zelda for all their help with the succesful event."
